Olivia's Fish

We had a HUGE milestone in our house this week! Last night was Olivia's first night without her binkie. YEAH!!! So tonight, she went to Petco and purchased two female beta fish with her binkie. On her own, she "purchased" them by handing the cashier her binkie as payment. She did a great job. Afterwards she was able to stay up and help put her new fish into their aquarium. We're really excited. One of the beta fish is red and the other is blue. I had thought the obvious names would be Elmo & Abby Cadabby. But she is pretty insistent that the red one is Olivia and the blue one is Anthony. I guess we'll see what she thinks tomorrow when she has had time to sleep on it. And just as a I guessed, the fish have a second admirer. Mitten has decided that the counter next to the fish tank is the perfect place to lay. We'll see how that goes:)
