Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all! We had a very busy weekend celebrating with family. Olivia spent the weekend with Grandma & Papa at their house. She had a ball. Needless to say, she woke up on Sunday morning and told me that she didn't want to go home. She wanted to stay at Papa's house. Hmmm - problem on the horizon. But to make the weekend even better - Aunt Janice brought her pet hamster. Both of my children were ecstatic.

The Easter bunny visited Grandma & Papas on Sunday. Olivia filled her Elmo Easter basket with eggs that she found hidden outside. She had a great time coloring eggs, but I think she also had a wonderful time filling the Easter eggs. She helped Aunt Janice and Uncle Jeremy fill them with candy on Friday night. I believe that promptly following this event, they all chased each other around the house playing tag and throwing plastic eggs at each other.

On Sunday evening - we had two very worn out children. Olivia reminded us the whole way home to Cedar Rapids that she wanted to go back to Grandma & Papas. Tomorrow to be exact :) Anthony was exhausted and promptly went to sleep when we got home. I think Tony and I are going to need a really long nap to catch up :)

Have a wonderful week all!!

  1. What precious children! They are so cute and Olivia is at such a fun age :)We loved having her, even when she asked "Why?" a million times - It is so totally amazing that she took her socks off (last photo) and put them on her hands because she said that "Mouse" the hamster scratches her hands. She is growing up too fast and it is cute how Anthony says "dada"! Love - Grandma
