This weekend Aunt Janice invited us to come to Iowa City and go to the Iowa City Art Days. It happened to be the Sand Sculpture contest and my children LOVE sand!! We were extremely impressed by the sculptures...I think we laughed hardest at the construction one where the dog had run across the wet cement!! I can see that happening in our house! Then we went to play in the big sand pile. They had a wonderful time doing that. Anthony liked to bury Aunt Janice, but wasn't too sure he enjoyed having his feet buried. Olivia decided that sand castles were made to be STOMPED on...hmmm I may be a little worried about that one :)
And to finish the day off, we went and played in the park. Needless to say everyone took a long nap on the way home! Thanks Aunt Janice!!!
